Alexandria Earth Day Kidical Mass Bike Ride
Kidical Mass kick-off bike ride at the Alexandria Earth Day Festival. Kidical Mass is a legal, safe and FUN bike ride for kids, kids at heart, and their families. All types of bikes, trailers, trail-a-bikes, Xtracycles, longtails, bakfiets, Long Johns, tandems, folders, trikes, and whatever rolls are welcome! Come hoot it up with us.
Why do the ride? To celebrate the fact that Kids are Traffic Too. For family fun on vehicles that don’t hurt the future! Another excuse to pedal with your family.
Our first Kidical Mass will take place
When: Saturday, April 24th, 2010 at Alexandria Earth Day
Where: Ben Brenman Park, 4800 Brenman Park Dr, Alexandria, VA 22304
Ride Start: at 12:30 p.m.
After the kick-off ride:
When: We will do these rides on the third Saturday of every month, from April to October and starting at at 2 pm .
Where: 1. Marina Dr. Daingerfield Island, Alexandria, VA 22314.
The ride will be on the Mount Vernon trail heading into Old Town Alexandria with a stop at Ben & Jerry's ice cream shop. At 1:30 pm before the ride we will have a bike safety clinic to make sure your bike is safe and prepared for the ride.

free registration here. Helmets are required! Minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
